2/23 - Extremely happy I followed the advice of a retired electrician and contracted with Amperia Electrical. Needed several GFCI outlets, a new 240V circuit, and a generator transfer switch installed. Andres not only provided responsive, expert service, but after reviewing my needs, recommended more economical changes to previous estimates I had received that included rerouting the 240V electrical circuit and installing an interlock kit in the circuit panel vice a more expensive solution. Both recommendations resulted in substantial cost savings and the interlock process is simple/ “idiot proof”, a real plus for me when dealing with electricity. 11/22 - Amperia was recommended to us by someone else in our neighborhood in late September who only uses them. I can see why as they were great, Evelyn who sets the appointment and Andres the master electrician. Andres even scheduled to come out to our rental townhouse on a Saturday outside of regular weekday business hours. He was able to resolve our electrical issues quickly and professionally. We also recommended Amperia to my parents for an electrical issue at their Vienna home. 5/22 - Since 2019 we had Andres' rewire our kitchen, replace and add outlets and light fixtures, wire a large shed and most recently replace our old electrical panel. Andres' is knowledgeable, honest, polite and the quality of work is outstanding. Scheduling is never a problem. Evelyn is wonderful and accommodating and will always work with you. 11/21 - Evelyn and Andres are amazing! I had some significant work done to my house. Panel replacement / upgrade and several other things around the house. The pricing communication quality and service was top notch. They def exceeded my expectations. Andres even did several extra small things to enhance the project with no charge. Andres has helped install recess letting, install outlets, run 220 volt lines for AC upgrades, hard wire new doorbell wiring for a smart doorbell camera, repaired outlets, repaired attic fans, and numerous other services. 10/20 - I called Amperia Electrical to see if they could give me a rough estimate over the phone to change out 4 light fixtures in my home. After explaining the type of fixtures and where they were located they quoted me a reasonable price. They were able to do the job within 2 days, which other companies I called needed to come out to do an estimate first and then schedule the job. The guys in the job were very nice and professional. 9/3/19 - We had a great experience with Amperia Electrical and highly recommend them. Communicating with Amperia was very easy. Evelyn (who coordinates estimates and scheduling) was extremely responsive on Yelp and email, and quickly and patiently answered my questions regarding their services, cost, etc. Andres (master electrician) and Carlos (electrician) were both very efficient, skilled, and easy to work with. Since we had a number of miscellaneous electrical items to take care of in our basement and throughout our house, we hired both of them for 3.5 hours (about half a day) for a reasonable flat hourly rate plus the cost of materials, and they took care of just about everything on our to-do list -- definitely more than we had expected. They also noticed something that another electrician had not installed up to Code and fixed it. We appreciated that Evelyn had asked us for our to-do list in advance and they had tried to make sure necessary materials were on their truck to maximize efficiency. 7/24/19 - I asked for a proposal for a number of different electrical upgrades. I got a next day in person estimate followed by the formal proposal by email. The company was extremely responsive to my needs. The work was done when I wanted it. The two electricians were very professional and did an excellent job on each item in the proposal. One thing I was interested in was making sure that if I decided to sell the house in the future the electrical system was up to code. They found a couple of minor issues that were corrected. In general. the company was extremely professional from start to finish. Given the other electrical companies I have used, this is one of the best in the local area. 8/18/16 - I called Amperia to have recessed lights and dimmer switches installed in my condo. Andres, the Master Electrician, arrived on time accompanied by another electrician. I appreciated the fact that he took the time to explain to me the installation process in detail. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. The team worked very efficiently for approximately 6 hours. I was concerned that I would have a lot of cleaning up to do after the installation but they left the area clean and organized. 8/17/16 - I was searching for electricians around Alexandria area to install ceiling fans in my 3 bedrooms, and I got to Amperia through a co-worker's recommendation. Andres did an excellent job. He not only had the best price among the quotes I obtained from other electricians, but he was also very fast and straightforward. As a woman, when it comes to plumbing, electrical work and car repairs, I always feel like I'm somehow going to be screwed, because I don't know anything about it and I just have to take their word for it, lol. And I usually hate that feeling of being completely powerless about it! But I didn't feel like that with Andres AT ALL!
